Financial Analyst IV (Senior Financial Analyst) plays a key role within the finance/accounting organization. Position is open due to internal promotion. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the budget process, creating annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, and financial reporting among other tasks.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with department owners to create annual operating budgets, quarterly forecasts, and longer-term strategic operating plans
- Prepare presentation materials in support of Monthly Reporting Package, Quarterly Business Reviews, and Executive/Board level presentations
- Support monthly reporting including variance analysis, analytical reviews, management commentaries, and KPI monitoring
- Partner with department owners to review monthly results, including educating department owners, and working coordinating with Accounting team to ensure results are properly recorded
- Develop meaningful business unit operational and investment analysis identifying business drivers, trends, risks and opportunities
- Calculate bonus accruals and validation of payments
- Perform ad hoc business analysis as requested, including research, presenting alternative strategies to current plans, modeling impact of various business decisions
- May be responsible for recording stage revenue journal entries
- Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
- 5-8 years of experience as a financial or business analyst or similar role required
- Strong computer/financial system skills; proficiency with MS Suite (Access, Word, Outlook) with advanced Excel skills required
- Experience with Host Analytics, MS Dynamics AX, Axapta, or other ERP systems
