At AGC Biologics A/S we work with development and GMP manufacturing of APIs for both commercial products and products in all clinical phases. We are a client centric CDMO, and the partnership with our clients is our everyday focus. AGC Biologics is in a period of rapid growth and you will play an important role in executing projects that are important to develop our current facility in Søborg and continue our growth.

We are looking for a senior project manager to support our project activities at our Copenhagen site. We have projects in our current facility and a large project to design and build our new EUR 100+ million Mammalian Manufacturing Facility.

The department
You will report into the New Facility organization which is part of EOS - Engineering and Operations Support. The responsibility of EOS covers various support functions and execution of a wide variety of projects to increase manufacturing capacity.

The department consist of around 40 employees with project managers, engineers, compliance specialist and technicians and the New Facility Project has a strong team of app. 15 full time employees.

During the coming year we expect to hire around 10 more people to meet an increase activity level and match the need of the new facility project plan.

The position
When you are involved in the new facility project you will be part of the project management team of our new Mammalian Manufacturing Facility. You will manage sub-projects covering the buildings and supporting utility systems. The project team consist of a project director, sub-project managers and functional leads for Manufacturing, QC Laboratories and Supply Chain Operations. Subject matter experts from operations participate part or full time to the project.

AGC is partnering with an engineering company for the execution of the project. Detailed Design has been finalized in October and the construction site is in full operation.

As senior project manager you will effectively manage the communication between the engineering company and AGC project resources allocated to the project.

You will monitor, control and report on project progression and cost to ensure your part of the project is completed on schedule and within budget and you communicate closely with the project director and the other project leads within AGC.

When you manage projects in our current facility you will be responsible for the successful execution of these and the project reporting line will be to another manager in the EOS department.

Your profile
Engineering degree preferably within the Buildings or Utility area.

8+ years of engineering management/technical project management experience in the biopharmaceutical industry with hands on experience of qualification and validation of facility areas and equipment.

Open minded, self-driven and eager to learn and share your experience with team colleagues is a must to have success in AGC.
