SUMMARY:

AGC Biologics is currently looking for a Community Engagement and Events Specialist / Sr. Specialist (Associate II / III) to join the Global Human Resources team. This role will be responsible for supporting community partnerships and recruitment events. This is an exciting opportunity for a self-starting, dynamic communications professional to help foster existing community partnerships, build news ones, and plan and events to support recruiting efforts during a period of rapid growth.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Foster relationships with community partners (including local colleges, industry partners and professional groups) to help build brand awareness, recognition, and trust as an employer of choice
  • Lead strategy and execution of a community outreach program in support of enhancing current partnerships, establishing new and meaningful partnerships, and recruiting events
  • Lead end-to-end planning and execution of digital and in-person recruiting events, including assistance with candidate sourcing and engagement, compiling information and presentations, live event support, and analysis and reporting of performance data and insights
  • Publish and manage recruitment events calendar
  • Develop a global program strategies and objectives in partnership with Talent Acquisition and other HR leaders to support current and future recruitment needs
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition and Human Resources to create a diverse candidate pool
  • Stay informed of recruitment trends and innovative solutions
  • Leverage project and program management practices
  • Identify speaking opportunities and other placements for key company leaders and subject matter experts
  • Position will require some travel

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Excellent writing and presentation skills
  • Good interpersonal and relationship-building skills in order to work with various teams at each site with varying cultures and community partners located in the areas where the company global sites are located
  • Event planning, coordination, execution
  • Creative skills and some graphic design abilities are a plus
  • Technical skills including but not limited to: Microsoft Office Suite, MS Teams, Survey Monkey, webinar applications such as Zoom –  Hubspot is a plus

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field is preferred, though other degrees are acceptable
  • Minimum 5 years related experience
  • Knowledge or experience in biotechnology or biomanufacturing a strong plus
  • Experience planning and executing recruitment events or similar
