We're looking for a Manager for the Employment Brand team to build and define our global employer brand strategy. In the last 12 months, we’ve gone public, acquired companies, and transitioned to remote-first. We need help telling this story! We are proud of our Affirmers, their work, and our mission and vision - we want you to bring that to life. You will lead the small but mighty team of 2 to develop a scalable strategy as we continue to rapidly expand!

We're open to candidates who have brand experience but want to change direction and transition to an employment brand focus.

This role will report to the Senior Manager of People Experience.

What You'll Do

  • Build out a robust strategy of branding campaigns that support our highest impact hiring priorities
  • Report out on our successes and areas for improvement by taking a data-driven approach to everything you do
  • Lead all aspects of our site as well as all external hiring sites
  • Work closely with internal partners in Talent and DEI to tap into key areas for focus
  • Partner with our Marketing, Social, and Communications Teams to ensure the way we depict Affirm is always on brand and up to date

The Ideal Candidate

  • You have strong brand experience (6+ years) and curiosity about employment brand
  • Experience developing a global brand strategy
  • 2+ years of people management experience
  • Comfortable in an ambiguous and vibrant environment and have a shown attention to detail with accountability to see projects through
  • A passion for getting the details right, but also knowing how to ship on time
  • You seek to build positive relationships with key partners and use your expertise to drive the process forward despite any obstacles

Nice to Have

  • Previous employment/talent brand experience
  • Bonus points for experience in M&A related work

Location - Remote U.S.

The majority of our roles are remote and can be located anywhere in the U.S. and Canada (with the exception of the U.S. Territories, Quebec, Yukon, Nunavut, and the Northwest Territories) unless the job indicates a different global location. We are currently building operations in Spain, Poland, and Australia.  Employees in remote roles have the option of working remotely or from an Affirm office in their country of hire, and may occasionally travel to an Affirm office or elsewhere for required meetings or team-building events. Our offices in Chicago, New York, Pittsburgh, Salt Lake City, San Francisco and Toronto will remain operational and accessible for anyone to use on a voluntary basis, subject to local COVID-19 guidelines.
