Position Summary:

The Video Production Manager (Automotive Advertising) leads the development and execution of audio-video content that effectively surpasses client expectations and engages target audiences. This role is crucial in integrating advanced technologies, including automation and artificial intelligence, to enhance efficiency and maintain high-quality standards. The manager will be responsible for team leadership, strategic project management, and continuous process improvement.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership: Directs the production team to deliver high-quality projects on schedule, identify bottlenecks, and drive process enhancements. Takes a hands-on approach when necessary to manage workloads and assist with team tasks.
  • Budget Management: Oversees project budgets to maximize cost-effectiveness while achieving quality targets.
  • Strategic Development: Ensures deep understanding of client requirements to tailor content that delivers impact.
  • Technology Integration: Stays ahead of industry trends, facilitating advanced training sessions to incorporate cutting-edge technology and methodologies.
  • Team Development: Leads both team-based and individual training programs, promoting skill advancement and professional growth.
  • Resource Management: Ensures all production materials are up-to-date and accessible, and work with the Traffic team to manage team workloads to support peak performance.
  • Creative Collaboration: Partners with stakeholders and creatives to conceptualize and launch compelling advertising campaigns.
  • Operational Administration: Manages all administrative aspects, including invoice processing and adherence to HR policies.
  • Morale and Retention: Implements initiatives aimed at enhancing team morale and retention through a positive and collaborative workplace culture.

Position Requirements:

  • Educational Background: Associate degree in Marketing, Film, Motion Media, Animation, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field; higher degrees preferred.
  • Professional Experience: At least 3 years of proven team leadership and management experience, and a minimum of 6 years as a motion graphics designer or animator, preferably in an advertising agency, with significant experience in automotive advertising.
  • Skill Set: Exceptional leadership, project management, and interpersonal skills. Proficient in Mac OS, Microsoft Office, Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Audition.
  • Industry Knowledge: A thorough understanding of current production techniques and standards with a proven ability to innovate and adapt to changing technologies.
