Receptionist 

We are seeking a friendly, dependable and organized individual to join the Affinia Tx team as a Receptionist who can assume administrative and facilities responsibilities as well as company culture enrichment. In this role, you will greet all visitors at the office, answer all calls, and partner closely with the office management team to provide general office support and related tasks. This role will also provide additional support to the People Strategy and Operations department and play a role in enriching our company culture. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated and energetic team player. This role reports to the Executive Assistant & Office Manager. 
 

Primary Responsibilities  

  • Greet and direct visitors, answer incoming calls, and assume other receptionist duties 
  • Perform general office upkeep including stocking office supplies and kitchen pantry 
  • Provide administrative support to various functions 
  • Act as lead of the Affinia Social Team  
  • Partner with Talent Acquistion to schedule candidate interviews and welcome candidates  
  • Responsible for sorting and delivering mail, and sending invoices to Accounts Payable 
  • Manage catering orders for company meetings and other events 
  • Assist in planning company functions/offsite meetings 
  • Manage company swag inventory  
  • Serve as backup to the Executive Assistant & Office Manager as needed 
  • Maintain Digital Board content and LinkedIn Life page 

 

Minimum Qualifications 

  • High School Diploma/GED and at least 1 year of administrative experience; OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience 
  • Proficient in MS Office 
  • Must enjoy working in a team-based environment 
  • Must have an interest in working in biotech administration 
  • Must be creative and interested in enhancing company culture 
  • Must be detail oriented 
  • Must possess superior organization skills and dedication to completing projects in a timely manner
