AEye is seeking an experienced and driven Director of Corporate FP&A to help us lead our FP&A team. The ideal candidate for this role has 10+ years of FP&A experience with at least 3 years running a Corporate FP&A team. We are looking for a motivated team player with a high attention to detail, a strong ability to work cross departmentally and a proven record of developing teams.

Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead company planning for all near and long-term forecasting processes.
  • Be a trusted advisor to the CFO and Exec Team; proactively collaborate, influence, and align the company’s planning processes to achieve the overall company strategy.
  • Work cross functionally and support global business stakeholders. 
  • Oversee forecasting and planning reporting and analytics, and decision support. 
  • Prepare variance analyses of actual financial results to previous forecasts, budgets, and prior periods, including preparation of presentations to senior management and board of directors.
  • Prepare monthly department and project financial reports and provide analysis relative to plan. 
  • Provide inventory management financial oversight.
  • Deliver performance insights on key financial metrics and operational drivers.
  • Recommend actions to achieve financial and operational goals.
  • Develop ad-hoc financial analysis to support current and emerging initiatives.
  • Partner with multiple internal organizations to drive process and systematic improvements including data collection and reporting streams across the organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
  • 10+ years of FP&A experience, with at least 3 years running Corporate FP&A
  • Excellent financial modeling and analysis skills
  • Advanced Excel skills required
  • Netsuite Experience is a plus
  • Strong influencing skills and ability to interact with all areas and levels of the business.
  • Strong customer service orientation and skills; ability to thrive in a team environment as well as the ability to work independently.
  • Outstanding collaboration skills, with proven ability to work with multiple stakeholders across department and business lines to accomplish goals.
  • Manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment while maintaining a high level of precision
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated strategic thinker and self-starter capable of developing mission critical recommendations and seeing them through in a hands-on way.
  • Prior experience in a high tech/manufacturing

 

Salary Range: $175,000-$225,000
