Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior Engineer to work on our upcoming Vector Database. Vector databases aid in semantic search, natural language processing (NLP) and enable LLMs (Large Language Models) to provide better responses for generative AI applications.
As a part of our core vector database engineering team you will work on one or more of the following areas
- innovative algorithms and indices to perform distributed vector similarity search
- distributed computing architecture for a high performance vector database
- using hardware for acceleration and optimization of vector computations
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience
- Strong skills in any programming language like Java/Golang/Rust or C
- Strong foundation in designing and building high performance systems preferably database and/or distributed systems
Bonus Skills
- Worked with Vector Databases
- Worked with distributed NoSQL databases
- Worked with or knowledge of AI/ML pipelines at scale
