Job Title: Patient Accounts Receivable Coordinator
Base: Advantage Behavioral Health
Job Purpose Summary:
- To ensure that patients and are properly billed for all services, and that payments are received and processed in a timely manner. Responsible for handling patient billing and balance inquiries and make a timely and appropriate resolution of all assigned accounts.
Responsibilities Include:
- Analyze transaction information to identify refunds, delinquent accounts, and insufficient payments.
- Prepare and disburse patient financial statements
- Review all Past-due accounts and track their payment progress
- Resolve issues with delinquent accounts through contacting and working with the patient.
- Update Patient Account information as needed to ensure accuracy
- Collaborate with the Administrative Director and other RCM Team members to maintain company financial health.
- Effectively manage incoming billing inquiries
- Keep records of interaction in patient charts
- Identify and issue patient credits where needed
