Principal Duties/Responsibilities:
- Operate plant room equipment to customer requirements.
- Maintain plant room equipment. This includes operational checks, routine maintenance, and reactive maintenance.
- Carry out PPM schedules as necessary and planned work orders as required.
- Assist visiting specialist engineers when necessary.
- Plan / prioritize workload to support production and ensure efficient use of working time.
- Update records in CMMS.
- Provide support and back up for other members of department as needed by site leadership.
- Assure compliance with 5S and housekeeping standards.
- Complete on the job training for career development.
- Provide inputs in CI activities - processes, results and cost savings.
- Follow all safety related policies, rules, regulations, technical instructions and guidelines. Situational awareness and identify unsafe behaviors and conditions.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSAs), & Behaviors Required:
Essential KSAs
- Must be able to use basic hand tools.
Desirable KSAs:
- Must be able to use basic hand tools.
- Knowledge of compressed air, vacuum or steam systems
- Experience as a plant room operator / maintenance engineer / service engineer operating in an industrial environment
- High degree of professionalism.
- Commitment to confidentiality.
- Good organizational skills.
