Position Summary:

Reporting to the Chief Clinical Operations Officer, the Senior Manager, Data Management will play a critical role in our efforts to effectively manage and leverage data to support Aditum Bio’s clinical development activities. The Senior Manager, Data Management will support studies across development stages and therapeutic areas and will be responsible for the collection and management  of data generated from Aditum Bio’s clinical trials, with high standards for data integrity. This person will contribute to the data management technology and other advanced clinical solution adoptions at Aditum as we build a digitally enabled intelligent clinical development environment.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Lead data management activities across Aditum Bio portfolio companies to achieve high quality and compliant clinical trial data deliverables
  • Serve as in-house Data Management SME and collaborate with internal cross-functional leads to ensure progress of deliverables against study plans and timelines
  • Function as primary point of contact for data management CRO and, as required, other vendors
  • Contribute to technology and service vendor evaluations, process development and improvement initiatives
  • Lead / support standards development and maintenance
  • Stay abreast of new data management tools, solutions and emerging trends

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or technology-related field
  • At least 7 years industry experience (CRO, pharma company or biotech) in data management, with a strong understanding of the clinical development process
  • Highly experienced in data management activities, e.g., Data Management Plan, CRF design, Data Validation Plan, data transfer specifications
  • Experience in hands-on use of data management technology and tools, such as EDC study build and edit checks programming are strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of CDISC data standards and implementation experience preferred.
  • Experience in system integration, eCOA, DCT, and wearables preferred.
  • Strong understanding of GCP, ICH and other regulatory requirements pertinent to data management
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively effectively within a dynamic, matrixed team environment
  • Strong analytical ability and demonstrated experience in creative problem solving
  • Curious and growth-oriented

 

Location requirements: This is a hybrid role (2-3 days per week onsite) and can be based from our headquarters in Oakland, California or from Cambridge, Massachusetts. Aditum Bio intends to obtain an office location in Cambridge in Q3 2024; the position would be fully remote for those MA-based until a Cambridge office opening. 

The range for this full-time position is $150,000 - 165,000 plus a target bonus, equity compensation and benefits including medical, dental, vision, disability, life and 401k plan with match.

Our time off benefits include flexible/non-accrued PTO plus 12 paid holidays, and a paid company shutdown the last week of each year. Sick leave will also be accrued at the rate of one hour for every thirty hours worked. For employees eligible to take parental leave, we may provide up to 8 weeks of paid additional leave. Additional leave time may be available and may be paid from other sources.

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location. The range displayed on our postings reflects the minimum and maximum for new hire salaries. Within the range, individual pay is determined by interview performance, job-related skills, experience, relevant education and training, and other relevant factors. Please note the range reflects base salary and does not include target bonus, equity or benefits.
