The Role
Addepar is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Salesforce System Administrator to help manage and enhance our Salesforce instance as well as other supporting technologies. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Salesforce administration, a solid understanding of APEX development, including Lightning Web Components (LWC), and experience with SOQL.
This role requires a proactive individual who can collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the platform meets business needs and supports organizational growth.
What You'll Do
- Utilize in-depth knowledge of the Salesforce platform, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Revenue Cloud (CPQ) and other Salesforce products to implement robust solutions.
- Stay current with the latest Salesforce features, and assist in the implementation of relevant updates.
- Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and confirm business goals and outcomes.
- Work with Addepar’s Solution and Technical Architects to translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and high-level design documents.
- Be inquisitive! We are partners with the business. Ensure we are implementing the right solutions for the right problems.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, and development teams to ensure successful delivery of Salesforce projects.
- Participate in build sprints performing both build activities and Quality Assurance testing
- Create documentation for solutions as required by Addepar’s Center of Excellence
- Ensure solutions are aligned with enterprise architecture standards and Salesforce capabilities.
- Perform standard org maintenance tasks such as data loading, deduplication and other data quality tasks; user creation/ deactivation; territory assignments; minor metadata updates; etc.
- Participate in QA and UAT sessions from both a planning and testing perspective.
- Partner with the Sales Enablement team to provide training and support to end-users and other team members on Salesforce.
- Act as a subject matter expert for Salesforce-related queries and issues.
Who You Are
- BSc in Computer Science or demonstrated equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator.
- Be familiar with the setup and maintenance of typical Salesforce metadata such as (but not limited to):
- Object model and schema changes
- Record types
- Salesforce platform automation
- Workflow Rules, Process Builders & Flows
- Apps, page layouts, etc
- Salesforce security model
- Salesforce Development (APEX, Javascript library usage, Platform Event handing)
- Certifications in the following subject matter areas are considered an asset:
- Salesforce CPQ
- Salesforce Admin/ Advanced Admin
- Salesforce App Builder
- Salesforce Experience Cloud Consultant
- Platform Developer Level 1
- Salesforce Integration Architect
- SAFe Certification, PMI-ACP or equivalent Agile based Certification to support our Project and Program approach
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to present complex solutions to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies both on and off the Salesforce platform and how they integrate together.
- Experience in the finance industry is highly desirable.
- Exposure to any of the following technologies is also desirable
- Certinia (FinancialForce)
- Gearset
- Ironclad CLM
- Docusign
- NetSuite
- Databricks (including AI Agent)
- Looker
- ETL tools such as boomi, Informatica, Mulesoft etc.
