Being a part of the AddeU Internship Program, you will be working on meaningful project(s) that you can feel proud of and present back to the company at the end of the experience. In addition to having a supporting manager and mentor, we have a fantastic onboarding program to get you acclimated and ready for your time with us. Fun events and super cool swag are also included!

At the moment, our 12-week internship experience is remote. Dates are currently set for June - August 2025 but please advise your recruiter. Seeking US or Canadian students only.

The Role

We are currently seeking a Software Engineer Intern to join our Analysis, Widgets, and Dashboards Team (AWD)! AWD is actively building out new modules and functionality for the next generation of Addepar's core product.

The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial-minded and thrives in a fast-paced and goal-driven environment. You have outstanding communication and collaboration skills and are able to work with a diverse group, get consensus, and drive the product forward. You are execution focused and emphasize getting things done while paying attention to important details.

Engineering is at the core of Addepar, and we are looking to invite the best, brightest, and most passionate software engineers to join us! Addepar takes a market-based approach to pay. A successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on the role, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base salary for roles in Colorado, California, and New York.

The current range for this role is USD $34 - $53.

What You’ll Do

  • Join a team that is actively crafting some of the core features within the product
  • Implement backend focused improvements with the opportunity to perform full stack development depending on your interests
  • Partner with product managers and designers to build compelling features
  • Work with your teammates to deliver client requested features to production

Who You Are 

  • Must be currently enrolled in a post-secondary educational institution (university must be located in the US or Canada) & must be returning to school after internship
  • Available to intern for the full 12 weeks
  • Outstanding talent in software engineering. Ability to write high quality object oriented code.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Some understanding of development best practices and experience working in a team.
  • Driven to explore complex problems spaces objectively from multiple points of view.
  • Ability to learn in a fast paced environment
  • General familiarity with some of the technologies we use: HTTP, REST and web API best practices. Java, Python, React, MySQL, Kafka
  • Linux proficiency, basic shell scripting and a good grasp of systems level programming is a plus.
  • Bonus: Specific experience in or knowledge of financial data systems.
