The Role

We are currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join our growing accounting deparment. As a Senior Accountant, you will oversee general accounting operations by controlling and verifying our financial transactions for our offices in India and the EMER region.

What You’ll Do

  • Be responsible for General Accounting duties, such as managing the general ledger system, generating and inputting journal entries, conducting month-end closing tasks, and reconciling various accounts.
  • Review and validate accounts payable transactions.
  • Provide support in overseeing payroll operations for the India office.
  • Addressing payroll-related inquiries from employees for the India office.
  • Coordinate with the Financial Planning and Analysis team, Accounts Payable team, and business partners to prepare and maintain monthly accruals, ensuring accurate expense capture and month-end cutoff.
  • Analyze financial data and present summarized financial status reports.
  • Evaluate intercompany account balances between US and international subsidiaries.
  • Collaborate with auditors throughout audit processes, addressing audit findings promptly and ensuring timely resolution.
  • Continuously identify and implement streamlined procedures and processes for improved efficiency.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields. Chartered Accountant (CA) is required
  • 5+ years of accounting & payroll experience
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skill
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, work under pressure, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
