Production Packaging Technician

DM Texas, is seeking a talented Production operator. The ideal candidate will have experience in compounding 3D printing resin, operating, and managing numerous additive manufacturing machines. This position will be responsible for daily operation duties to facilitate production of 3D printing polymer resin in accordance with QHSE (quality, health safety and environmental) rules and regulations under general supervision.  

Key Roles and Responsibilities 

  • Perform daily resin manufacturing operation in safe and effective manner. 

  • Operate all equipment necessary to properly process and package finished product. 

  • Load, unload, store, sample, and transfer raw materials, finished product, and miscellaneous items 

  • Operate all plant equipment as per standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions (WI) 

  • Handle, transport, and process chemicals in accordance with the applicable OSHA and EPA standards. 

  • Maintain documentation and record key production data as directed.  

  • Daily plant upkeep and maintenance. Perform daily housekeeping duties and maintain lab hygiene. 

  • Communicating part and machine statuses as well as hardware and part issues back to impacted team members. 

  • Participate in safety, quality, and productivity improvement projects 

  • Execute other responsibilities and projects as required 

Qualifications 

  • High School diploma required.  

  • 1 – 5 years' experience in support of an assembly or in a manufacturing environment  

  • Ability to read, understand, and follow instructions including technical drawings and process documents  

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.  

  • Strong attention to detail, with excellent follow-up skills.  

  • Great record keeping and data entry skills.  

  • Ability to take initiative and work independently.  

  • Ability to problem solve quickly and prioritize daily tasks according to their importance  

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.  

  • Must have proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with web-based tools
