AcuTech Consulting Group is growing rapidly and seeking highly qualified and motivated Process Safety Engineers, Managers and Consultants in India to help fuel our growth. What You’ll Do:

As part of AcuTech’s PSM team, you will work directly with clients on projects spanning all aspects of process safety and risk management. Successful candidates will proactively apply engineering and problem-solving skills to meet challenging safety and business objectives while seeking out leadership and growth opportunities. Candidates must have high technical acumen, be self-motivated, independent, organized, able to work effectively under direction of senior engineers, and handle multiple work assignments and projects.

What’s Required:

  • Senior Consultants: 10-15+ years’ experience required; ability to develop and lead cross-functional teams, manage client relationships, develop business and utilize strong project and people management skills.
  • Engineers / Consultants: 5-10+ years’ experience; self-motivated, independent, organized, able work effectively under direction of senior engineers, handle multiple work assignments and projects and seek professional growth and development.
  • All Roles:
  • Bachelor / Masters in related engineering field (chemical, electrical, mechanical, fire protection, safety).
  • Relevant experience in process safety management, health, safety and environment (HSE), related experience in process or engineering design environment, manufacturing operations, and/or consulting environment.
  • Ability to develop consulting business, including developing proposals and making presentations
  • Self-motivated, independent, strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and client service.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and facilitation skills and a consultative approach in supporting customer projects.

What’s Preferred

  • Ideal candidates will be “Seller Doers” with existing client connections and an ability to generate new business.
  • Experience in developing, implementing, or managing PSM programs
    • Experience in developing, writing, and implementing PSM plans, procedures, design philosophies, design bases, engineering specifications, standard operating procedures
    • Experience in developing and evaluating/auditing PSM management systems and advising management at all levels of the organization to effect positive change to operational excellence.
  • Experience and expertise in PSM Technical Services such as:
    • Process hazard analyses (PHA), and risk assessments, or related studies, such as HAZID, What-If, HAZOP, FMEA, and Layer of Protection Analysis (LOPA)
    • Quantitative Risk Assessment including QRA studies, fault tree/event tree analysis, facility siting studies, fire hazard, explosion, and toxic modeling
  • Safety Instrumented Systems services such as:
    • Safety integrity level (SIL) assessment, safety integrity level (SIL) assessment based on recognized knowledge of IEC61511 and related standards
  • Experience and expertise in dust hazard management services such as:
    • Evaluating processes for dust hazard fire and explosion risks (DHA)
    • Auditing for dust hazard management
  • Experience and expertise in reactive chemistry hazard management
