Acronis offers Professional Services for our Service Providers and Enterprise users to assist with the design, integration, implementation, and ongoing operation of Acronis backup, cyber security, disaster recovery, storage, file sync, and share, monitoring, and other data protection solutions. We take pride in delivering high-quality services and deliverables, and we believe that our partners' success invariably depends on our ability to provide reliable and complete data protection and fast recovery services for virtual, physical, mobile, and cloud environments. We are looking for Cloud Platform Engineer to join our EMEA team. We are looking for somebody who has a passion for scripting, coding, automation, and doing everything as code. You need to have a proper understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and possess good knowledge and expertise in various automation tools for developing digital pipelines (CI/CD pipelines) and the development cycle in general.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Collaborate with a team of Senior System Engineers and DevOps professionals.
- Ensure smooth operation and high availability of production systems.
- Maintain infrastructure, configuration, and monitoring using "Infrastructure as Code" practices.
- Create, extend, and improve delivery and development processes and systems.
- Participate in the deployment and maintenance phases of software.
- Be part of the Incident Management roster, covering:
- On-call shifts.
- Troubleshooting and resolving various production incidents.
WHAT YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
- At least 2 years of experience as a System Administrator or at least 1 year as a DevOps/SRE Engineer.
- Strong Linux administration skills.
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, or Groovy scripting.
- Experience in automation development.
- Hands-on experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible).
- Solid understanding of the network stack, including:
- NGINX, DNS, DHCP, PXE.
- Differences between firewall, routing, and NAT.
- Familiarity with the principles of Infrastructure as Code.
- Understanding of CI/CD principles.
- Experience with virtualization and containerization technologies.
- Knowledge of provisioning and orchestration systems.
- English proficiency (at least upper-intermediate level).
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with teams across multiple countries.
