We are looking for a Cloud Sales Representative to join our mission to create a #CyberFit future and protect all data, applications and systems across any environment.
The Cloud Sales Representative, reporting to the regional Cloud Sales Manager in Japan, will drive revenue growth by identifying, qualifying, and closing new service provider partnerships. You will manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to negotiation and contract closure, while collaborating closely with internal teams and distribution partners. This role requires a hunter mentality, strong communication skills, and an understanding of the cloud computing landscape.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Engage new Service Providers in Japan to resell Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud services. Transitioning the new partners to Partner Success Manager smoothly.
- Identify and develop sales opportunities by researching potential accounts, initiating contact, building relationships, and providing technical information and explanations.
- Conduct thorough research on prospects, utilizing online resources and company data to personalize interactions and understand their specific requirements.
- Actively pursue leads and direct sales opportunities, referring them as needed and ensuring all activities are recorded in Salesforce.
- Effectively articulate Acronis' value proposition and brand messaging, highlighting key differentiators and competitive advantages.And consult and advice business plan of Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud. Provide advice on business plan of Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud and Introduce Acronis Academy.
- Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts to the direct manager and regional General Manager, ensuring transparency and effective resource allocation.
- Maintain daily communication with Acronis distributors, marketing, support, solution engineers, and other stakeholders to foster collaboration and drive results.
- Actively participate in coaching sessions and getting feedback to improve sales skills and performance. And,complete mandatory quarterly upskill training sessions.
- Create new upsell models and provide updates on the sales activities within the sales team.
- Collaborate with Marketing team to prepare seminar and sales event, and to give presentations at the events.
WHAT YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
- Proven Success in Sales: 3+ years of experience in B2B technology sales, with a demonstrated track record of exceeding quotas.
- Hunter Mentality: A proactive and results-oriented approach to sales, with a solid ability to identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Excellent Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with prospects and partners.
- Sales Process Expertise: Proficiency in managing complex sales cycles, including lead qualification, needs analysis, solution presentation, negotiation, and closing.
- Previous experience in IT would be considered a strong asset.
