WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Develop and maintain scalable and resilient cloud solutions using Go Lang and Python.
- Perform code reviews and implement security enhancements to align with industry best practices.
- Work closely with the security team to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in the Acronis Cyber Cloud platform.
- Analyze, optimize, and ensure the performance and reliability of solutions.
- Guide and mentor team members in adopting secure software development practices.
WHAT YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
- Proficiency in Go Lang and Python with a strong track record of building cloud services.
- Application Security Expertise:
- Experience in identifying and mitigating application vulnerabilities.
- Hands-on experience with tools like OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite, or similar for vulnerability assessments.
- Familiarity with secure development frameworks (e.g., OWASP SAMM, NIST 800-64, ISO/IEC 27034).
- Experience in secure code reviews and a proactive approach to identifying potential risks.
- Knowledge of core software engineering principles: algorithms, data structures, multithreading, web services, and REST APIs.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD systems and build/deployment tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket).
- Bonus: Training or certifications in Secure Software Development (e.g., SANS Institute certifications).
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields; Master’s Degree preferred.
