We are seeking a skilled Events Specialist to join our Global Marketing organization to scale our external and internal events and significantly increase their impact on the business. This dedicated specialist will streamline the execution of in-person events and webinars addressing regional specifics and strategies.
WHAT YOU'LL DO :
Event execution
- Organize different types of external in-person events from the beginning to the end. Eg. Acronis partner days, conferences, VIP events
- Organize and manage Acronis’ presence at 3rd party events
- Organize webinars, virtual conferences, and product demos
- Organize multiple types of internal in-person and virtual events from the beginning to the end: offsites, kick-offs, seminars, training, summer team-ups, New Year team-ups
- Work closely with regional marketing managers and support local teams in implementing the educational events into their plans
- Work closely with the design team and branding
- In collaboration with Product Marketing and Product Management build the content for these events ensuring Acronis’ partners receive valuable insights and updates on products and services
- Ensure clear communication of objectives, roles, and responsibilities across different departments
- Create marketing plans for the event’s promotion and execute the promotion
- Manage external and internal speakers and brief them
- Manage external agency partners (events, MICE, BTL, production, etc.)
- Manage the event schedule and work under short deadlines
- Contact vendors, and suppliers and define the best options for the projects. Handle contracts
- Control budget. Process payments under the company’s internal practices
- Follow the company’s event policy with high-end standards for each detail (content, design, production, etc.)
Post-event analysis:
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to track events' success metrics and ensure alignment with organizational goals
- Collect relevant data and provide recommendations before, during, and after the event
- Regularly provide post-analysis of organized events with budget, generated leads, and opportunities
- Build post-event reports (eg. on SalesForce)
- Analyze the event's impacts on the business
- Analyze all events to understand their unique characteristics, cultural preferences, and improvement gaps
- Suggest new formats and recommend how to improve our events
WHAT YOU BRING
- 3+ years’ experience in international event management at big IT companies.
- Good knowledge of JIRA and SalesForce; Marketo basics
- Fluent in Zoom, and M365
- Virtual events production experience
- AV and production expertise
- Experience in international projects abroad
- Large-scale contacts in international events / MICE
- PR or SMM experience is a plus
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Rational thinking in complex problems and out-of-time situations
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
- Team-oriented working attitude and understanding of different cultures
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work with minimal supervision
- Passion and commitment to succeed by working hard and never giving up
- Ability to prioritize and adapt to change
- Efficient time management
- Fluent in English (second language is a plus)
