We are looking for а Tier 3 QA Engineer who is ready to join our mission in creating a #CyberFit future!
In this role you will be responsible for verifying product functionality based on Customer reports, including designing test scenarios & running these tests, creating environments, analyzing test results, and preparing reports on the defects to the development/product team. In addition, you will participate in pre-release testing - conducting internal user acceptance testing prior to releases.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Analyze Customers' issues, investigate root causes;
- Identify test conditions, design test cases, plan testing activities;
- Maintain and design complex test environments required for tests execution;
- Execute test cases according to the described scenarios (Customer cases);
- Work with logs & diagnostic information using appropriate techniques & tools;
- Analyze test results, logs & prepare reports to the development teams;
- Log & document bugs in the tracking system (Jira), verify bugs;
- Participate in building of virtual testing framework;
- Execute exploratory testing & User Acceptance Testing (UAT);
- Collect comprehensive & relevant data for bug investigation;
- Work with R&D, Support, Product, and other departments on technical questions & user scenarios.
WHAT YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering;
- 2+ years of experience as a QA Tester (Manual) or System Administrator or in a related field;
- Pre-Intermediate level of English (ability to read documentation & write simple texts) or higher;
- Familiarity with any Virtualization system (VMWare ESXi, MS Hyper-V, oVirt, KVM);
- Strong skills of basic Windows/Linux system operations, including software installation, network configuration, general troubleshooting;
- Knowledge of various operating systems: MS Windows (including corporate versions) and Linux distributions;
- Hands-on experience with GUI, and CLI;
- Experience in testing or support of endpoint security solutions;
- Experience in investigating and troubleshooting performance related incidents with built-in and 3rd-party tools.
- Understanding of User Experience;
- Understanding of common software failures & faults;
- Attention to details;
- Strong analytical & problem solving skills;
- Time-management skills (SLA);
- Strong multitasking;
- Ability to work autonomously & in a team.
Would be considered plus if you have
- MacOS experience;
- Cybersecurity analyst's skills;
- Scripting skills (e.g. JavaScript, Python, PowerShell, etc.).
