We are looking for a Manual QA Engineer to join our mission to create a #CyberFit future and protect all data, applications and systems across any environment.
As a Manual QA Engineer, you will be working on Acronis True Image software for backup with millions of active users. Thanks to our software our customers feel themselves safe and protected against system or hardware failure. Anytime user can recover the whole system including the operating system, applications and settings, and personal data. Your task as a Quality Assurance engineer would be to make the new product version flawless. Acronis True Image is constantly developing, we are bringing new features based on innovative technologies every version release.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Execute test cases per the requirements for PC, Mac.
- Submit and validate defects.
- Design test cases for new features and maintain core checklists.
- Prepare test environment.
- Collaborate closely with other members of the product team.
- Investigating and troubleshooting product or production issues.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- 3+ years of experience working in software development
- Knowledge of the macOS operating system, including system preferences, Terminal commands, and macOS-specific troubleshooting. A solid understanding of how operating systems work overall.
- Good knowledge of test methodologies, writing test plans, and creating test cases.
- Familiar with testing desktop, web, or mobile applications
- Proficient with tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar test management tools.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Good interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills in English.
- Self-motivated to explore new technologies, applications, and environments.
- Knowledge of basic programming/scripting principles would be an additional advantage.
- Very good level of English
