We are seeking a talented Content Marketing Director to help drive our content marketing efforts and lead our crack team of content marketers.You’ll lead a team of 6-8 content marketers and two or more agencies who are responsible for delivering exceptional, influential content that inspires and influences our target audiences. You’ll drive the content strategy while mentoring the Content Marketing team and leading by example to ensure an effective, high-quality, results-oriented content marketing program. You’ll craft unique content about the emerging field of cyber protection and collaborating with a global team of recognized cybersecurity experts to demonstrate our thought leadership, market vision, and security expertise.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Developing and overseeing a comprehensive content strategy that is built to deliver real-world results
• Creating new, accessible content to explain complex technologies and topics to a variety of audiences
• Training and mentoring in-house content marketers
• Managing outside agencies and content developers
• Acting as an escalation point to solve problems and provide direction to internal and external resources
• Own the company blogs and micro-site content
• Work with the digital marketing team to develop and track content consumption and conversion
• Navigating challenges and delivering on goals by thinking outside the box and experimenting with new content formats and campaign/program approaches 
• Work with the design team to ensure company branding guidelines are used by the team
• Own the style guide and company taxonomy 
• Ensuring the steady delivery of content that reinforce the company’s vision and branding, including but not limited to creating articles for internal and external use, blog posts, website copy, e-books, white papers, solution briefs, videos, etc.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Commitment to producing high-quality, high-performing content
• Strong leadership combined with the ability to collaborate with team members
• Strategic approach to create content to reach business goals
• Collaborative creative approach and excellent communication skills 
• Ability to balance competing priorities and deadlines
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail 
• Strong understanding of SEO best practices
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Creative Writing, English, Journalism, or similar field
• 7+ years’ of content marketing, preferably in the cybersecurity or SaaS industry, with an additional 2+ years of leading a content    team
• Proven success developing strategic marketing programs in B2B context, building brands, and boosting sales
• Experience working for a growing, global technology company (with cybersecurity or cloud industries strongly preferred)
