We are looking for an experienced and driven IT Manager to help setup and support our internal IT function for our new Israel office. The IT Manager will be responsible for coordinating, planning, and supporting all of the IT systems and other related activities for our Israel office and employees. The IT Manager will manage the network and infrastructure, and own the implementation and maintenance of Acronis’ IT systems, to ensure optimal performance and productivity. This position must operate with a high level of ownership and accountability, to ensure IT infrastructure security, risk mitigation and to define and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices.


  • Align IT infrastructure with current and future business requirements and goals
  • Perform hands-on HelpDesk support for local Israel office including new hire IT setup, installing and upgrading software and hardware, implementing file backups, and configuring systems and applications
  • Test, troubleshoot and configure network and information systems to operate effectively
  • Maintain local Virtual infrastructure farm
  • Maintain security of the internal network, data, storage, and communication systems
  • Manage IT inventory
  • Helping procurement team in technical part of purchasing for new and replacement hardware, software and IT tools
  • Communication with local service centers for warranty/non warranty repairs
  • Act as Data Center primary point of contact in troubleshooting and hardware placement
  • Manage local IT budget and forecasting to ensure cost-effectiveness
  • Occasional business trips to fulfill IT department needs
  • Helping events team with IT questions during company events
  • Ability to be on call for 24/7 support as necessary


  • 5+ years of experience working in IT industry on the same or similar role
  • Experience working in a Helpdesk environment
  • Excellent working experience and knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems
  • Experience with:
    • workstations and server administration
    • VmWare vSphere environment (other virtualization platforms is a plus)
    • Windows Servers
    • in setting up server hardware and racks from scratch
    • Microsoft Office products - extensive application support
  • Working knowledge of diagnostic utilities
  • Firm grasp on IT infrastructure and operations best practices
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
  • Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritize
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
  • Fluent in English (both oral and written)
