SUMMARY

Acronis is expanding and we are on the lookout for an ambitious, Strategic Business Development Manager to join our growing team. In this role you will hunt and manage strategic partnerships with some of Acronis's largest partners who comprise of Telecommunication companies and Managed Service Providers and will take our engagement with them to the next Level. In essence we are looking for a highly strategic “Born in the Cloud” Sales person.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create mindshare and enable new & existing Strategic partners to position & sell Acronis products
  • Responsible for achieving monthly, quarterly and annual quota
  • Responsible to develop, manage and close large strategic deals in Singapore and South East Asia Region
  • Developing and implementing sales strategies to obtain these new strategic partners, through cold calling and other channels – 70% Hunter / 30% Farmer
  • Define and execute partners sales plans / Quarterly Business Reviews
  • Accountability for sales quota, execution of goals and objectives
  • Identify and prioritize top accounts within the local territory market
  • Provide weekly reporting of pipeline and forecasts using automation tools
  • Building in-depth knowledge of clients’ technical and business priorities, challenges and initiative that can be translated into IT solution opportunities
  • Developing new business relationships, generate and negotiate new revenue streams
  • Attend and participate in sales meetings, product seminars and trade shows
  • Maintain cutting edge knowledge of new product offerings, competitive issues, and selling techniques
  • Strategize, prioritize and monitor business plans to meet sales goals and objective
  • Grow new Acronis products tasked by management
  • Any other duties as assigned

REQUIREMEMTS

  • Minimum 10+ years of successful Sales background selling into large MSP’s / Telcos and System Integrators
  • Proven track record of successes in converting sales opportunities into Orders
  • Proven expertise working with the executive level in large business environments
  • Strong commitment to drive the business and achieve the target
  • Team player with strong business acumen and new market penetration.
  • Highly Motivated; can work in a rapidly growing company and industry
  • Aggressively leverages his or her network and the Acronis Channel to hunt for new sales opportunities
  • Effective communication, presentation and time management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to forecast, pipeline and track activity and have effective time management skills
  • High energy, strong prospecting, qualifying and closing skills
