We are looking for an Account Manager to join our Renewal Sales team. One of the important responsibilities of the Renewals Account Manager will be building relationships with existing customers through account management and database follow up. The Renewals Account Manager at Acronis is a champion to ensure our customers who have purchased products with us renew and stay with Acronis. As account managers we also understand the customer by reaching our by email, calls, direct to the end user as well as through a reseller channel.


  • Manage multiple accounts; develop positive working relationships with all customer touch points
  • Drive client retention (renewal rate), renewals, upsells and client satisfaction
  • Manage customer relationships by reviewing customer account data to ensure accounts are renewed correctly and determine possible recommendations for other products and service
  • Validate and process customer orders for renewals, upgrades or maintenance contracts
  • Work closely with Partner Channel to service customer account relationship to drive customer satisfaction results
  • Provide timely pipeline and forecast updates to Partner Channel
  • Serve as partner advocate in assisting customer with any requested need and/or refer them to the appropriate area for resolution
  • Provide timely updates to the Renewals Manager and other account stakeholders
  • Provide timely forecast to Renewals Managers, Regional General managers and other stakeholders
  • Ensure integrity of customer and renewal data and track phone calls and emails in
  • Placing outbound calls (not on auto-dialer) to existing customers within an assigned region or set of accounts to build relationship, determine needs for renewals, upsell or cross sell opportunities
  • Proactively contact customers according to the 90 days territory coverage SLA
  • Work closely with Inside Sales, Field Sales, Sales Operations, Product Management, Web and Marketing departments for process optimization and improvement


  • 3+ years of Renewals or Inside Sales experience in the software industry
  • Bachelor’s degree or years equivalent preferred
  • Understanding of maintenance renewal sales cycle activities from qualification to close is strongly desired
  • Ability to make up to 40 dials a day while responding to email and internal requests daily
  • Proven ability to sell over the phone and using email communication when necessary
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to sales targets, having a sense of urgency when it comes to meeting (or exceeding) targets
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Professional demeanor, organized, and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision needed
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM applications (SFDC preferred)
