We are looking for an experienced Product Marketing Manager to own and create the product positioning, messaging and supporting marketing content to promote cyber protection through our backup, anti-ransomware, disaster recovery, storage, enterprise file sync and share solutions in the Japanese market. This experienced individual contributor will play a key role as the product expert to develop and deliver product materials, sales and marketing tools.

We are looking for a highly motivated, results-driven product marketing manager with solid technical knowledge. The individual must be confident in diving deep into the product opportunities and competitive challenges, and be able to work across virtual teams within the organization.


  • Work closely with the field marketing team and regional sales management to identify product and technical content needs, and support the local sales and marketing activities
  • Own and manage product-related marketing materials and resources such as product web content and collateral including datasheets, white papers and competitive analysis
  • Develop product strategy to meet Japanese market needs incl. positioning, pricing, and promotion
  • Manage product launch execution in Japan
  • Oversee product and web localization
  • Deliver compelling messaging and create content for demand generation and channel marketing programs (email, landing pages, blog posts, ad campaigns…)
  • Translate technical details into user pain points and benefits
  • Technical copy writing
  • Speaking engagement and evangelism support for sales and marketing activities and events such as trade shows and joint sales calls, as required
  • Provide support to Public Relations (PR) and Analysis


  • Native Japanese Speaking, Fluent in English
  • Relevant higher education degree or long-term experience in marketing
  • 5+ year experience in the corporate software market, ideally with PaaS
  • 5+ year experience in product marketing
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience in market analysis
  • Familiar with integrated and multi-channel digital marketing campaign tactics
  • Ability to multi-task while maintaining a high attention to accuracy and quality of work
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Ability to perform well under pressure
  • Worked with subsidiaries in an international organization
  • Experience in the consumer software or services market is a plus
