Your Opportunity:

We are looking for a talented, detail-oriented and enthusiastic Software Engineer who is passionate about building industry leading frontend applications. You'll be using the most current technologies and best practices to accomplish our goals. Responsibilities include research, design, implementation, documentation, and maintenance of new and existing systems. You will be working in a culture that is always looking to improve our quality, tools, and efficiency. 

In this Role, you'll get to: 

  • Participate in all aspects of the software development life-cycle, turning functional requirements into working application components that meet specifications and follow Acquia best practices.
  • Estimate the amount of work required to deliver requirements.
  • Build high quality web apps with latest technologies including TS and Angular
  • Get involved with technical team members to build the best solution
  • Participate in technical design and code reviews

What you have:

  • At least 1 year of experience developing frontend web application in Angular framework
  • Excellent HTML5/CSS3 skills – you understand the importance of UX 
  • Experience in CSS preprocessors like SASS and LESS (Syntactically Awesome Stylesheets (Sass) and Leaner CSS)
  • You love new technologies and approaches and want to use the best tools available.
  • Excellent understanding of object-oriented JavaScript, TypeScript and advanced design patterns
  • Excellent knowledge in modern coding and design practices. For example DRY, SOLID principles, and TDD
  • Ability to write good unit tests 
  • Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving skills with an ability to collaborate asynchronously in a multi-time zone environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent engineering discipline/experience

It's Great if you have:

  • Experience and interest in automated testing is a plus
