Acquia is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to join the team in support of our rapidly growing business in North America.
The ideal candidate has a strong background and shown success in Pre-sales, specifically in one of the areas such as Web Content Management, Marketing Automation and Technology, Customer Data Platforms and eCommerce. You have an entrepreneurial demeanor, are an outstanding communicator, a trusted advisor, and an Acquia enthusiast, developing relationships and strong technical solutions that meet customer’s business needs.
Acquia's Solutions Engineers interact with potential customers in all sectors - from startups to large enterprises across industries and with all levels of government. Solution Engineers help prospects understand their requirements, prove value of the Acquia solutions via demonstrations, ROI assessments and workshops to secure a technical and business win for the customers.
SE’s build trusted advisory relationships with prospects, customers and partners. Whether you are whiteboarding in front of a CMO, enabling regional partners on our solutions, or delivering a demo you’ve customized for an IT team, you’ll inspire confidence and clearly articulate Acquia’s value.
You’ll also act as a regional subject matter authority– a key conduit between the field and our sales leadership, product and marketing teams. You’ll help to better position Acquia in your region as well as bringing feedback from customers into the improvement of our solutions, services and processes.
- Based in the US, willing to travel as needed
- Minimum 6 year of experience
- Shown experience exceeding Pre-sales revenue targets
- Outstanding storytelling, whiteboarding, presentation, and demonstration skills
- Experience developing customized presentations, demonstrations and prototypes to prove a solution's business value to C level customers
- Ability to be hands-on with our technology solutions – comfort with HTML/CSS, Web Services and Marketing Technology
- Strong problem-solving skills, curiosity, intelligence, initiative, and the ability to thrive under pressure
- Spanish speaker a plus
