Acquia CDP is a Customer Data and Engagement Hub that provides enterprise consumer marketers the power to integrate customer data across digital, physical, and mobile channels, deliver customer analytics with predictive insights and 360-degree profiles, and engage customers at every touchpoint in order to maximize lifetime value. Currently, the CDP solution supports more than 150 brands worldwide. CDP leverages the latest technologies in big data, machine learning and data quality management to deliver an enterprise-grade, scalable and high-performance tool for customers such as Tumi, Lululemon, Lilly Pulitzer and David’s Tea.
Acquia Personalization is a SaaS, no-code application providing marketers the ability to unify content and customer data from multiple sources and deliver data-driven, optimized personalized customer experiences across websites, resulting in higher customer engagement.
In this role you will:
Manage a team of high performing engineers and deliver high quality code in an agile environment
As a hands on manager, design and develop high-quality server-side code (API and microservices)
Help product team prioritize features and be a champion of the engineering team in release/sprint planning
Facilitate code reviews and establish best practices in the engineering team
Manage performance of direct reports (Review, Rating and Reward)
Hire and train/retain top talent on the team
Contribute to the technical architecture of Acquia marketing cloud codebase
Collaborate with other engineering managers across the organization
Collaborate across the other disciplines in the organization (professional services, sales consultants, product management, executive management)
Skills and qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
3-5 years of experience in managing an engineering team.
12+ years of hands on Java software development experience
Intermediate SQL expertise & hands on experience with MySQL (or similar relational databases or NoSQL databases)
Expertise in Data Structures, Algorithms and Multi-threading
Experience building Microservices and APIs
Experience with Agile (eg Scrum) and test driven development
Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD)
Knowledge on Amazon Web Service (EC2, S3) or Google Cloud or Azure.
Experience with distributed, scalable and low latency solutions
Hands-on experience with big data technologies such as (but not limited to) Hadoop, Spark, Kafka etc.
