Duties and responsibilities
- Lead shared services functions Revenue Operations, Marketplace Operations, Unbilled, AR, AP, Inventory, and Treasury at aCommerce supporting Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, and Regional as required
- Manage a team of approximately 50 staff with 6 direct reports; Partner with stakeholders to identify, migrate and operate additional common finance processes within Shared Services
- Train and develop team members as necessary
- Embed end to end processes using best practices with our existing SOP
- Ensure delivery to Service Level Agreement requirements
- Optimize efficiency by implementation and optimizing of suitable tools and technology
Experience Requirements
- Significant experience in accounting required with at least 3 years of experience of accounting (TFRS for PAE and Non-PAE)
- Prior experience of managing a large team of accounting staff, preferably within Shared Services context
- Experience working with international, remote based teams
- Previous experience with Thailand Revenue Department
- People management experience
Skill Requirements
- Highly professional to work with other functional and cross-functional teams
- Thai speaker and very good command of English (oral and written)
- Excellent capabilities in Excel and experience from using cloud based ERP (NetSuites would be an advantage)
- Demonstrable ability to deliver changes in finance processes
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
- Self-starter and have an affinity for technology’s ability to drive efficiencies and enhance service delivery
Reporting Lines
- Reporting to Regional Finance Director
- Managing teams located across the countries, including existing hub teams
