Who You Are

The Sales Strategist works with Sales Reps on all Digital RFPs and Insertion Orders for Direct and Programmatic Sales. This position requires working directly with Sales Reps, Ad Operations, Marketing and Product teams and involves heavy client contact via email/phone. Account Managers liaise between customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs.

 

What You Will Be Doing

 

  • Strategize with Sales Reps to develop effective plans for Advertisers
  • Implement all RFPs and Insertion Orders in our Ad Serving platform, DFP
  • Act as the liaison between Advertisers and AdOps to get campaigns live and address any client spec, tag & creative questions
  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly campaign performance to ensure full delivery and maximize creative performance
  • Troubleshoot operational campaign issues with both internal and external parties
  • Manage and sustain client relationships, develop deeper relationships, and explore areas of growth – serve as client lead for all live campaigns
  • Forecasting digital ad inventory for RFPs and incoming IOs
  • Drive Post-Sales Creative discussions between our 3rd party creative team and clients
  • Ability to analyze reporting data to develop compelling Wrap-Up reports for clients’ post-campaign

 

Experience We Are Looking For

 

  • Four-year college degree
  • 2+ years’ experience in Digital Ad Sales with experience in Media Planning (i.e. Desktop/Mobile for Direct and Programmatic Sales)
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Knowledge of DFP, bonus if you have forecasting experience
  • Accurate data entry skills, analytical abilities, excel skills and the ability to demonstrate initiative and work with minimal supervision
  • Pro-active, self-starter, great organizational skills including good time management skills
  • An acute attention to detail is a must
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment, and meet deadlines under pressure
  • Some knowledge of ad tag syntax, HTML, Javascript, Flash and Rich Media is preferred
  • DMP experience with a knowledge of how to properly develop 3rd party data segments
  • Excellent people skills
