AccuWeather is looking for a Product and Account Support Coordinator to join our team! This position will work out of our Enterprise Solutions office in Wichita, KS.

Who You Are

The Product and Account Support Coordinator provides Tier 2 Support for AccuWeather Enterprise Solutions (AES) clients’ products and accounts. The successful candidate with have strong interpersonal skills, the ability to provide IT support for current AES products, and a strong focus on customer success. 

 What You Will Be Doing

  • Providing direct technical and account support for AES clients
  • Evaluating product deployment configurations to identify potential errors in product operations
  • Assisting AES team leads with research and evaluation of client processes and systems
  • Delivering product training webinars for AES clients
  • Collaborating with AES IT and Operations Teams to complete support and onboarding processes
  • Supporting AES Sales Team operations through providing basic account management functions
  • Collaborating with other AES teams, as needed, to ensure customer success

 

Experience We Are Looking For

  • BS in Meteorology or related field and over 3 years of experience in customer service
  • Fluent knowledge of Linux/UNIX and associated tools
  • Must have advanced knowledge and experience with MS Office computer applications (e.g. Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
  • Programming knowledge and debugging ability, preferably in PERL
  • Exceptional customer communications skills, both written and verbal
  • Preferred background in emergency management, hazard science, or disaster management
  • Preferred familiarity with GIS and related concepts and tools, such as Global Mapper and ESRI
  • Preferred experience with Microsoft CRM, Jira, or other workflow management systems
  • Ability to develop a strong working knowledge of AccuWeather products and systems
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently build and maintain strong working relationships with representatives from other teams and/or departments
  • Ability to work with a sense of urgency, both in communicating technical issues and resolving them
