We are looking for an outstanding Senior UX Designer to join our established design team to help us design the future of Accruent. As a Senior UX Designer, you will be part of a dynamic atmosphere, taking ownership over multiple projects, champion for the user, and creating intuitive, innovative, and accessible designs for thousands of people and businesses throughout the world.

How you'll make a difference

  • Work across established teams of Design, Product, Engineering, QA, to develop a comprehensive understanding of our product needs and priorities.
  • Take ownership over assigned projects – plan and follow through on given design projects from gathering requirements to testing implemented designs.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, Analysts, Marketers, and other stakeholders to define problems & goals, conduct user research, design interactions, and launch new features and services.
  • Conduct research with users and experts to identify and eliminate sub-optimal design patterns and usability issues.
  • Design complex flows that meet user needs and business objectives, and minimize the efforts required to implement.
  • Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
  • Develop high-fidelity prototypes and UI designs that can be implemented by engineering teams.
  • Advocate across the organization the prioritization of design centered changes, refinements, and improvements.
  • Advocate for UX best practices across the organization.
  • Mentor fellow designers and contribute to the development of internal design processes and standards.
  • Stay up to date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies.

You'll stand out if you

  • Have experience in UX design, with a strong portfolio of design projects.
  • Have experience and skill in research, design, usability testing, documentation, and collaboration with engineers.
  • Have experience delivering Accessible (WCAG 2.1+ Level AA) solutions to a diverse audience.
  • Demonstrated history of leading the design of complex features that are simple, elegant, and functional.
  • Strong understanding and ability to articulate user-centered design principles and practices.
  • Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
  • In-house experience researching & designing new features for an organization with an established design process.
  • Proven skills in stakeholder management and visual storytelling.
