Our Legal Team

Our Legal team is comprised of trusted advisors and operates in a lean, fast paced, dynamic environment.  By working collaboratively across the company, you will be instrumental in driving growth, scale and continuous improvement in the business. 

The Role: 

Accruent is looking for an experienced individual to join its Legal team as a Legal Analyst / Paralegal.  This person will perform complex legal analytical, paralegal and administrative functions requiring reasonable independent judgment and discretion in support of various aspects of Accruent’s business.  This includes support for all steps of the contract lifecycle. This person will also support business teams, in-house and outside legal counsel, and will have direct contact with internal stakeholders and external clients. This person will play a key role in supporting the Company's growth by working on various documents, operational initiatives, and other contractual and administrative activities. All in a fast-paced environment, and, in each case, while ensuring corporate guidelines and ethical standards are consistently met.

This position reports directly to our Senior Compliance Counsel and will be located in São Paulo, Brazil. 

How you'll make a difference

  • Become a subject matter expert regarding the Company’s contract management system and internal business departments, organization, policies and procedures.
  • Support internal contract data migration projects
  • Request and maintain the Company's certificates of insurance to ensure Company compliance with contractual insurance requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with in-house and outside counsel, internal stakeholders, agents, and vendors to resolve issues related to contract management.
  • Assist with management of processes and operations related to the Legal team
  • Promote our culture of continuous improvement by identifying potential process improvements and supporting projects that drive operational efficiency and streamline existing policies and processes.
  • Provide administrative support for our internal compliance programs, subsidiary management, and matter tracking and management.
  • Research legal questions and topics as may be requested from time to time.
  • Ensure that all assigned activities are completed in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Support other related and additional responsibilities that may be required or assigned from time to time.

You'll stand out if you have

  • Advanced interpersonal, verbal and written skills in English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience supporting a legal department’s commercial contracting processes.
  • Familiarity with Brazilian state and national labor laws, regulations and compliance requirements strongly preferred
  • Prior experience supporting internal company compliance programs strongly preferred.
  • College degree in relevant field, such as legal analyst, paralegal or business, preferred.
