We are seeking a rock star marketing and communications professional to share our compelling story in new and innovative ways! The ideal candidate will enjoy turning Accruent software solutions into a cohesive narrative across various media channels. This role is a cheerleader for the brand and our assortment of products while viewing our marketing message through a customer lens. A wiz at workflow software? Great! We can use your help optimizing our software and keep our content and creative teams on track. Collaboration across our global organization is important, but we trust your ability to work electronically. This will be a remote work opportunity.

How you'll make a difference:

  • Help determine and guide the communications strategy for a software company offering products that fit the needs of 80% of the world's businesses.
  • Maintain a conversation with our internal customers to get to the proper brand story.
  • Champion a cohesive voice to help our team communicate consistently and effectively across marketing, sales, and thought leadership.
  • Manage the content and demand gen team’s workflow via JIRA, ensuring quality input.
  • Oversee important projects, including PR campaigns, connected website experience, special video projects, etc.
  • Enhance Accruent's digital presence through social media and content generation.
  • Create quality communication vehicles for sales, product, and leadership partners.
  • Work with the leadership team to prepare for high-priority public engagements (webinars, fireside chats, conferences, industry events, etc.)
  • Supervise customer sentiment, driven conversations, and press/media mentions.
  • Drive data-driven marketing experiments to establish the most effective approaches for engaging Analysts, Media, and Press.

What you bring to the table:

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, marketing, business, or similar.
  • 5-7 years of relevant professional experience in B2B business.
  • Exceptional communications skills with a consistent track record of delivering powerful narratives to diverse audiences.
  • A quick problem solver who is flexible, motivated, and able to thrive in a corporate environment.
  • Ability to shift between tactical and critical thinking.

Other preferred qualifications

  • Excellent writing skills for the journalistic and social arena.
  • Demonstrated ability to elevate brand awareness in the marketplace.
  • Experience engaging with leadership, sales, product, and vendors.
  • Comfortable working within a matrix organization.
  • Prior experience in marketing in the business software and SaaS industry preferred.

  • This job potentially requires up to 15% domestic travel, 
  • This is a full-time, exempt opportunity.
