CFO Technology, NetSuite Technical Architect & Engagement Lead

Accordion’s CFO Technology Practice effectively and efficiently delivers the digital services and solutions to support organizational strategic initiatives.

Our CFO Technology experts work cross-functionally — alongside practitioners from all corners of Accordion — to arm CFOs with the appropriate digital solutions needed to implement the team’s business process recommendations and to capitalize on value creation opportunities. From ERP, CPM, Analytics, Data Integration, RPA, and beyond, CFO Tech provides finance leaders with a single, objective partner capable of delivering from strategy to execution.

We are currently looking for an experienced NetSuite Technical Architect & Engagement Lead to join the team on a Full Time basis. We are Headquartered in New York; however this role can be based in any of our current locations: Boston, Charlotte, Dallas, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco.


  • Collaborate with consulting and delivery team members to develop effective NetSuite solutions by identifying business requirements and translating requirements into specific NetSuite functionality
  • Effectively configure and customize client NetSuite environments to develop proof of concepts and present sustainable solutions to client executives and key stakeholders
  • Participate and lead workshops to define implementation strategy
  • Identify and apply best practices while configuring NetSuite for specific client requirements
  • Conduct and oversee internal testing to validate solutions and effectively perform user acceptance testing on client NetSuite environments
  • Experience designing integrations, including familiarity with integration platforms (Dell Boomi, Celigo) currently available and their compatibility with NetSuite.
  • Attend pre-sales meetings with prospective clients to assess project level-of-effort with sales team members
  • Provide general customer service and assistance to clients and serves as the ‘go-to’ resource for client and team members on all project related inquiries
  • Train end-users on specific processes and application

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, or Management Information Systems (MIS)
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, or Management Information Systems (MIS)
  • 3-5+ years of hands-on NetSuite Functional or Techno-Functional implementation or optimization roles
  • Project Management experience is a plus
  • 2+ years managing teams
  • Previous experience and ability to gather business requirements and effectively implement an ERP, CRM, or point solutions
  • Strong understanding of accounting processes (Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report) is required along with functional mastery of NetSuite in these process areas.
  • Consulting experience in other business applications including Intacct,, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft, etc. is a plus
  • NetSuite SuiteFoundations certification is required
  • Certified NetSuite ERP Consultant, NetSuite Administrator, and/or NetSuite Financial User certification is a plus
  • Understanding of various NetSuite modules including, OneWorld,  Advanced Revenue Management (ARM), SuiteBilling, Advanced Inventory, Advanced Manufacturing, Warehouse Management (WMS)
  • SuiteFlow, SuiteTalk or SuiteScript experience is a plus.
