Position Overview:

As a Managing Director, Distribution you will be at the forefront of driving operational efficiency within accesso’s Ingresso Distribution system . Your role involves overseeing the whole Distribution Vertical. Your goal is to streamline processes, and ensure the successful implementation of distribution strategies to meet business objectives.
As a member of our Distribution team, you’ll play a vital part in ensuring that our Suppliers and Distributors receive the support and service they need to increase sales of products via our different distribution channels. With your keen interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities 🔍, you’ll provide strategic assistance and collaborate with peers to prioritize and optimize the work to solve everyday obstacles and align resources with the overall strategy. Location: 🇬🇧United Kingdom; then, you choose what works for you! This role can be performed 100% remotely anywhere in the UK, at one of our office locations in the UK, or a hybrid version of in-office and remote.

What you’ll be working on:
- Provide strategic direction and hands-on leadership to the Distribution team, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Drive the development and execution of operational plans to support the ticketing distribution product.
- Assess and enhance operational workflows to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase overall productivity.
- Implement best practices and standards to streamline ticket distribution processes.
- Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to team members, encouraging professional development.
- Lead a cross-functional teams, including product development, sales, marketing, engineering and customer support, to ensure seamless execution of distribution strategies.
- Facilitate effective communication and coordination between departments to achieve common objectives.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of operational processes.
- Implement quality assurance measures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of ticket distribution, from engineering development items to operational product set up.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and partners involved in the ticket distribution process.
- Negotiate contracts, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with service level agreements.
- Work collaboratively with finance to develop and manage the budget for the Ticketing Distribution Operations division.
- Ensure effective resource allocation and financial performance in line with organizational goals.
What you bring to the role:
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role, with proven ticketing distribution knowledge
- Strong understanding of ticketing software and distribution processes.
- Understanding of Product Development and engineering practices
- Experience overseeing Projects from start to finish
- Contract negotiation experience
- Ability to manage a multi-skilled team with different backgrounds
- Ability to form strong relationships with accesso’s peers in the UK region and all over the world
- Demonstrated success in optimizing operational workflows and achieving efficiency gains.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to align operational activities with broader business objectives.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
