Access Creating Executives (ACE) Program Overview

Access is seeking outstanding candidates for its Access Creating Executives Program (“ACE Program”). The position provides hands-on experience and exposure to key operational best practices and tactics of Access’ portfolio strategy execution.

Candidates (“ACEs”) join the ACE Program as senior team members of an Access portfolio company, directly supporting and reporting to C-Suite executives in key operational functions including Finance, M&A / Strategy, Development and Marketing. ACEs are expected to improve, execute, and document best practices within the key roles, developing a meaningful operational skillset.

ACEs will attend and participate in Access activities, training sessions, and summits with other executives and ACEs across the Access portfolio. ACEs will work with Access to build skillsets, report out to other ACEs, develop playbooks, and train executives where appropriate. They will leverage key learnings across the current and future portfolio, while also driving projects and new investment opportunities.

The portfolio Company and Access will jointly evaluate each ACE’s performance; top performers may have the opportunity to progress into other areas of the Access Holdings ecosystem. ACEs will be well-positioned to move into a C-Suite position within one of Access’ portfolio companies or on the Access investment team.

Summary of Role 

Access Holdings is seeking outstanding candidates for the role of Director / VP of Digital at WagWay.  Working in close partnership with the CEO and CMO, the position holder will be responsible for owning the company’s digital & analytics vision, strategy, and execution, driving digital innovation across the company and ensuring that digital solutions and data insights effectively support business objectives and growth targets.  This executive position requires a visionary leader with a robust background in digital transformation, digital capability building, and data & analytics.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Digital Strategy: Craft and implement a comprehensive digital & analytics strategy aligned with the company's overall business goals.
  • Digital Leadership: Accountable for overall digital & analytics governance, budget, and P&L ownership; connects digital investments to enterprise KPIs & strategic objectives.
  • Customer-Back Innovation: Build deep understanding of customer / employee journeys to identify and implement digital interventions to drive business impact.
    • Digital Customer Experience: Guarantee the consistency and quality of the customer / employee experience across all digital channels and touch points.
  • Analytics and Insights: Lead the development and integration of analytics tools and techniques to improve business decision-making processes and reporting.
  • Data Governance and Management: Establish robust data governance frameworks and ensure the integrity and security of data assets.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with other executive leaders to integrate digital and analytical perspectives into broader corporate strategies and initiatives.
  • Innovation and Trends: Stay abreast of emerging digital technologies and analytics trends; evaluate and recommend new tools and approaches to maintain competitive advantage.
  • Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of digital and analytics projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and with high quality.
  • Vendor and Partner Management: Identify and manage relationships with external vendors and partners to enhance digital and analytics capabilities.
  • Thought Partner: Serve as thought leader and trusted business advisor to senior management and various stakeholders in helping them to improve their personal Digital IQ and the performance of their teams through embracing digital & analytics more broadly.

 

Professional Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field; Master's degree or MBA preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior digital/analytics role, preferably in a private equity or venture-backed business or top tier strategy consulting firm
  • Proven track record in digital transformation, data analytics initiatives, and/or digital product development
  • Experience implementing "Best Practice" approaches in digital strategy and transformation with effective change management
  • Experience in use of advanced analytics tools to generate customer and business insights
  • Sufficient knowledge of enterprise architecture, data engineering, and agile methodology to direct and manage technical teams
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, with ability to manage and motivate diverse teams
  • Well-networked in the digital community in North America
  • Private equity and/or M&A experience a plus
