Position Description
The Data Scientist Intern will work with The Pulse Team, Deal Teams as well as our Portfolio companies to support the development and implementation of data-driven solutions. This individual will be responsible for assisting in the collection, transformation, analysis, and interpretation of large sets of data, as well as the development of models and algorithms to support better and quicker decisions for both Access Holdings and our Portfolio Companies.
The internship is based at our headquarters in Baltimore, Maryland (a short commute from Washington, D.C.)

Assist in the collection and analysis of large sets of data
Help to develop and implement data-driven solutions
Create and maintain documentation of data analysis and modeling processes
Communicate findings and insights to the team and stakeholders
Contribute to the development and maintenance of data infrastructure
Qualifications
Successful candidates will have the following qualifications:
Currently enrolled in a program in a related field (e.g. computer science, statistics, mathematics)
Strong knowledge of statistics and data analysis
Experience with programming languages such as Python or R
Familiarity with machine learning techniques and libraries
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to work with large, complex data sets
Power BI experience, both building dashboards and writing DAX
Requirements:
Current sophomore or junior with a record of high academic achievement (cumulative GPA 3.3 or higher)
Must be eligible to work in the US without requiring sponsorship both now and in the future
