Position Description

Access is seeking outstanding undergraduate candidates for our Summer Marketing and Communications Specialist role.

The internship is based at our headquarters in Baltimore, Maryland (a short commute from Washington, D.C.)

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with marketing and communications team to execute marketing and communications strategies.
  • Assist in managing, enhancing, and measuring our social media presence.
  • Contribute to the creation and distribution of internal communications to keep team members informed and engaged.
  • Support podcast production by conducting research, drafting scripts, and coordinating interviews.
  • Develop content for marketing material such as presentations, newsletters, reports, and other materials as needed ensuring consistency with our brand.
  • Contribute creative ideas and insights to enhance external marketing efforts and engage target audiences.
  • Work cross departmentally to ensure communications calendar is synched with investor relations, public relations, and value creation teams.
  • Assist with drafting press releases, researching speaking engagement opportunities, and thought leadership ideation.
  • Assist with the management, execution, and deployment of a substantial industry-relevant research project.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and project management software is a plus.

 

Requirements:

  • Current junior with a record of high academic achievement (cumulative GPA 3.3 or higher)
  • Must be eligible to work in the US without requiring sponsorship both now and in the future
