Cloud Platform Engineer
Job Description
As a Cloud Engineer, you will be entrusted with the comprehensive management of system resources within the AWS Government cloud environment, specifically tailored for the client's ServiceNow implementation. Your role will be pivotal in deploying and maintaining these environments, ensuring that they run smoothly and efficiently. You will be expected to apply your expertise in terraform and AWS to architect and manage cloud applications that are both robust and scalable. Your responsibilities will also include the maintenance of external connections and the safeguarding of platform stability, which are critical to the seamless operation of the ServiceNow platform.
Responsibilities
- Manage all system resources deployed in the AWS Government cloud environment for the client ServiceNow implementation
- Perform environment deployment and maintenance operations
- Maintain external connections and overall platform stability
Must have:
- 5 years of technical experience working with one or more of the following platforms: Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Vmware or Oracle Cloud Platform
- Experience with RHEL and/or Linux systems
- Experience with scripting languages such as, but not limited to Ansible, Bash, Python, and Javascript will enable you to automate tasks and contribute to the efficiency of the cloud operations
- Experience in managing cloud applications within a government cloud environment
Nice to have:
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
- Experience deploying ServiceNow
- Experience with SecDevOps / DevOps tools and their use in cloud architecture.
- Experience with the Sponsor's accreditation and authorization (A&A) policies, procedures and tools
- Experience with COTS and GOTS data science / analysis tools and their configuration in a cloud architecture
- Experience as a software developer, database engineer, or other technical areas relevant to the delivery of complete software systems
Security Clearance:
- Active TS/SCI required

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience. The pay range for the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia is:
$97,300 - $196,500 USD
