SAP S/4 Upgrade Data Archiving Architect
The Work:
The SAP S/4 Upgrade Data Archiving Architect will lead data management and archiving strategies for SAP S/4 Hana upgrades. This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing data archiving solutions to ensure system performance, compliance and cost efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Providing expert technical guidance and support to the archiving project team to ensure successful implementation.
- Analyzing existing, customized SAP Archiving solution to determine gaps with S/4 functionality.
- Determining need for new client requirements based upon S/4 archiving changes and supporting workshops with the client.
- Designing new and modified SAP archiving objects to support S/4 upgrade, including functional specification updates and configurations.
Here is what you need:
- 10+ years of experience working with SAP ECC
- 3+ years of SAP S/4HANA
- 5+ years of SAP ILM
- Proficiency in SAP BASIS, database performance tuning, and storage optimization techniques
- Understanding of data privacy laws (GDPR, HIPAA, SOX) and compliance requirements
- Experience leading data archiving projects, working with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholders
- US Citizenship required, no dual citizenship
Bonus if you have:
- SAP S/4 Hana certification
- SAP ILM certification
- Knowledge of SAP data archiving, ILM, ADK (Archive Development Kit) and S/4 Hana migration methodologies
- Hands-on experience with cloud-based archiving solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Preferably experience migrating from SAP ECC data archiving solution to S/4HANA data archiving solution
- Experience with third-party archiving tools like OpenText, PBS or DataVard)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex data structures

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
