System Administrator
Accenture Federal Services is seeking a System Administrator to act as liaison between the client and Accenture operations teams for support and escalations, and provide software and web developers, programmers, and testers support and services.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the availability, performance, and security of software systems meet the effort requirements and needs of users
- Installation and configuration of software applications, databases, and middleware components according to best practices and system requirements
- Monitor the performance, health, and availability of software systems and applications
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as: software updates, patches, and backups to ensure system reliability and security
- Configuration and management of security policies, firewalls, and access controls to enforce security
- Provide technical support and assistance for end-users
Here is what you need:
- 3 years of general systems administration experience demonstrating progressive responsibilities
- 3 years of experience performing Windows or Linux system administration duties
- 1 year of experience supporting a cloud environment (AWS preferred) to include delivering, securing/managing, and diagnosing/troubleshooting complex issues
- 1 year of experience in a DevSecOps environment (e.g., working with configuration management tools, applying automation & infrastructure as code concepts)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Technical Discipline, or 4 years of professional or military experience in lieu of a degree
Security Clearance:
- Active TS/SCI Clearance
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience. The pay range for the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia is:
$108,400 - $203,400 USD
