Job Description
Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer Lead to join our dynamic team. The Cloud Platform Engineer Lead is responsible for managing a team of Platform Engineers to build and set up new development tools and infrastructure utilizing knowledge in continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD), Cloud technologies, Container Orchestration and Security. Build and test end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, ensuring that systems are safe against security threats. The candidate should have experience with managing a team, GitLab Pipelines and connecting applications to cloud services using CI/CD within the cloud.
Job Responsibilities:
- Leads team to understand, configure, implement, and deploy continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines utilizing GitLab.
- Configuring and maintaining Kubernetes reference design to include Sidecar Container Security Stack, Service Mesh, and Load Balancers in an AWS environment.
- Monitor DevSecOps platform services, validate the integrity and accessibility of all resources, hardware, systems, and key processes
- Leads team to develop, enable, and engineer new and approved services/features/enhancements for our DevSecOps Platform cloud environment utilizing native and third-party tool sets
- Collaborate with Cybersecurity and Infrastructure teams on the cloud platform’s development
- Tier 3 Support for CI/CD platform and tenants
- Self-motivated and leads team to deliver timely solutions
Must have:
- Hold or willing to obtain DoD 8570 IAT Level II
- 4 years of experience in leadership within technology-driven federal organizations
- 4 years of experience with Kubernetes, AWS EKS preferred
- 3 years of experience with container build and deployment processes utilizing CI/CD pipelines
- 2 years of hands-on experience with AWS
- 1 years of experience with each of the below:
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC)
- Hands-on experience with GitLab
- Willingness to work onsite (hybrid arrangements are possible with this role)
Bonus points if you have:
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or equivalent
- Experience with database administration/migration
- Knowledge of agile methodologies, network design and security, and DoD system requirements
Security Clearance:
- Active TS/SCI clearance

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
