The work:

Work with the team to plan, setup and configure Databricks in AWS. You will perform the following:

Assist with the Databricks cluster setup
Configure compute resources needed in the Databricks Cluster. Prepare scripts, Policies needed and Plan for Disaster recovery.
Administer Databricks environment
Provision users/access as needed
Setting up and monitoring resource usage and platform performance metrics
Assist developers in accessing functionality
Work with the Infra team to manage the Databricks infrastructure
Assist with Disaster recovery exercises o Manage environment and Data security
Assist the Senior Oracle DBA in managing On-Prem Oracle databases and AWS Oracle RDS
Monitor Database performance o Monitor Database backups and restores as necessary
Manage user provisioning
Manage Data security functions including role grants/rescinds etc
Proactively identify possible resource bottlenecks
Monitor automated patching and patching schedules
Apply manual patches / upgrades when needed
Assist with Annual Audits/reviews

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
