Accenture Federal Services is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer with excellent technical background in system administration and deep Linux operational knowledge to help support our high value client. The ideal candidate is hyper focused on customer needs, enthusiastic, a self-starter, and is dedicated to the mission.
Responsibilities include:
- Production environment hands-on experience with core AWS technologies (EC2, VPC, EBS, ALB, RDS, S3, EKS, ECR etc) or similar cloud technologies.
- Previous experience and full understanding of all of the phases of the Software Development Life Cycle. This includes planning and defining concepts to full production deployment.
- Deploy, configure, and operationalize resilient, highly available production grade k8s clusters
- Develop IaC for cluster orchestration and application deployment using a variety of tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Packer, Helm, Kustomize, GitLab, etc.
- Work with a variety of cloud native tools to add capabilities and secure the platform
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues across all layers of the technology stack
- Strong communication skills in both written and oral format
Here is what you need:
- 3 + years of experience with RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) or CentOS administration
- 3+ years of experience with AWS cloud technologies and CLI
- Experience troubleshooting DNS, VPN, HTTPS, and networking configurations
- Fluency with Bash, Ansible and other scripting and automation technologies
- Possession or ability to obtain 8570 IAT Level II Compliant Certification
Bonus points if you have:
- Bachelor's in computer science or similar field.
- Experience with DevSecOps tools and concepts such as Static Code Analysis, image scanning, GitLab/Jenkins, Nexus, ArgoCD
- RedHat and / or AWS Certifications
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and other container technologies
- Familiarity with AWS capabilities and offerings
- Experience with National Security systems and Air Gapped Environments
Security Clearance:
- Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility and willingness to obtain CI Polygraph

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below.
