The Work:
Responsible for leading the design and development of multiple applications for a large scale Federal IT Program using Java/Spring based REST APIs along with a Web 2.0 framework and a continuous integration environment. Responsible for developing Java/Spring solutions, as well as leading team(s) of software developers in implementing solutions and conducting detailed design reviews
Here is what you need:
- 8+ years of hands-on development experience, including at least 6+ years of Java/Spring development experience
- Significant experience with developing applications using the Java Spring framework
- Experience using Java development tools (e.g. Eclipse, JUnit, Git) - 3 years of work experience with Web development technologies (JavaScript, HTML, JSP, etc.)
- 3 years experience in developing using Agile Scrum methodologies
Bonus Points if you have:
- 6+ years of Java development experience in order to build enterprise applications
- 3+ years developing enterprise solutions using the Java Spring framework
- Detailed understanding of database schema design/SQL
- Thorough understanding and experience in developing using agile scrum methodologies
- 6+ years experience with using Java development tools (e.g. Eclipse, JUnit, Git) - Experience leading a team of developers for a large scale Federal IT program
