Job Description
The Database Engineer will be responsible for maintaining the integrity, security and availability of multiple database(s).
Responsibilities:
- Duties include disaster recovery, performance analysis and tuning, index maintenance, and monitoring of data.
- Administer, maintain, develop and implement policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the database.
- Evaluate and recommend available database management system (DBMS) products.
- Perform database and software life-cycle activities to ensure highest level of system performance and availability and compliance with business requirements.
- Perform Oracle, SQL Server and SYBASE Database and Application server administration.
- Organize and format data for efficient query and storage processes.
Must Have:
- 10 years of experience as a database engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university or 14 years of experience as a database engineer may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
Security Clearance:
- Active TS/SCI with polygraph

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below.
