You Are:
The Business Development Director (BDD) role is accountable for achieving pipeline, sales, and business development efficiency results that meet or exceed assigned targets. The BDD is responsible for identifying and engaging on strategic opportunities, building client relationships, and driving new capabilities into their target accounts.
- Expected to continuously learn and demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of Accenture Federal Services offerings and services, financial drivers and constraints, and develop and maintain both industry and client relationships.
- This position will provide Business Development support a Federal Military client within Accenture Federal Services
Here's What You Need:
- Bachelors Degree of 10+ years of industry experience
- Successful sales experience as Business Development Director in the federal marketplace
- Experience using formal sales capture processes
- Experience in one or more of the following: Consulting Services, Business Process Outsourcing, or Information
- Technology solutions, services, and markets including knowledge of competitive offerings
- Experience with relevant (i.e., Federal, State/Local Government) acquisition processes, procedures, and laws
- Experience managing sales pipeline, forecasting, and closing deals
- Previous experience in conceptualizing, planning, and implementing new products or services for a large business entity

- Experience within Federal Defense Clients
- Strong facilitation and communication skills – both written and verbal
- Strong leadership, problem solving, and decision-making abilities
- High energy level, sense of urgency, decisiveness and ability to work well under pressure
- Proven record as a team player

- Ability to interface and negotiate with senior executives

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
